The Social Pledge is a voluntary commitment to avoid profanity on social networking sites such as Facebook, My Space, and Twitter and encourage your “friends” and “followers” to do the same.
INSTRUCTIONS: I won’t collect your name or email (unless you decide to sign-up to stay informed). Just sign my petition to help clean up the razz on social networks and so that we can all self-police our friends. By enacting the Face Book Initiative you are simply saying to your friend (s) that you are helping them become aware that the entire world will read or see what they are writing, including College Admission Departments and Future Employers. This is a way for you to say to your friends: “stop or I click and remove you.” It’s time to clean up or get out!

HERE’S YOUR PLEDGE: “By signing this pledge I will not use profanity or post inappropriate images on my social pages and I will urge my friends to do the same or ask my friends politely to leave my Social Pages of my choice such as FaceBook or MySpace. The Social Pledge will not collect your email nor share with anyone.”
